I am studying the different affects of on chi flowing through the body linked to the color spectrum associated with chaukras of the body. I find vegetables and fruits block chi less if eaten before a practice session. Meat and dairy products make it very hard to raise chi.

I AGREE! I always feel better after eating fruits and vegetables than after eating meat when training. I never really made the connect however, until now.

First I will mention the root chakra where energy begins ascent up the spine that will eventually raise chi or energy. When working with this chakra we are dealing with the color red for healing therapy. You can greatly enhance healing in the body in any form of higher exercise such as yoga tai chi or any one of the moving meditation practices. The root chakra is used for healing diseases of the lower organs such as the lower digestive tract, bladder and kidneys etc. Half an hour before meditation consume a moderate amount of red food such as tomatoes, cherries or red cabbage. As I mentioned previously food from plant sources are easier to digest, have a higher vibrational rate and bring the body more energy. As you practice one of the types of exercises mentioned above especially breathing exercises try imagining the chi you raise as a pure red healing light cleansing and purifying the organ causing you trouble and in need of healing. I am not a doctor and do not claim to prescribe. I am simply a wiccan and alternative healer. Blessed Be
