Meditation is a big part of my qigong exercises. I begin each session with a minimum 10-12 minutes of standing meditation. Looking to quiet the mind and open the senses. It really helps to pepare me mentally for the session. Its such a natural lead into the slow movments and deep breaths in qigong

I have tried to simplify and condense 3000 years of teachings into three laws and meditate on them every morning.

DOC'S LAW:
1) Be grateful, patient, happy, healthy, and knd.
2) Dismiss bad thoughts.
3) Nurture good thoughts.

The mind is like a fertile garden in that it will grow whatever you plant. If you choose to plant corn in your garden, it will grow corn not beans. If you choose to plant nightshade, it will produce poison in just as wonderful abundance. Things are always popping up in the subtle (or subconscious) mind, some good and some not so good. It is the job of the conscious mind to weed the garden by identifying and discarding bad thoughts and to let the good thoughts grow.
If you think good thoughts, you will feel good. If you think bad thoughts, you will feel bad. If you think about nothing, you will feel nothing.

Kind regards,
DOC

MEDITATE ON THIS, you will get more gone, live longer and better:

Slow down, simplify and be kind...
The real goal is harmony.

Kind regards,

Take a fun walk. Look up and out, breath deeply and enjoy the view. Love yourself and all the life around you.

Think happy thoughts.
Today is going to be a happy day, because I am going to make it a happy day.
I will make myself happy.
I will make others happy.
When I see this again, I will still have a smile on my face.
