My wife and I was introduced to QG through SFQ. I love your site and the live options. Is there any issues with combining the two? I think the SFQ guy said stick with one.

BTW...my wife has MS. Any experiences/suggestions?

Hi Jay,

I've heard of Spring Forest Qi Gong but do not know the details of it personally. I do not believe there are issues when combining different forms of Qi Gong. The primary reason you don't want to combine different styles is when you are first learning them. If you're trying to learn 3 or 4 different styles it can get very confusing. Sort of like the old saying "jack of all trades but master of none."

If you have fully learned and internalized the spring forest Qi Gong I see no reason you can't try other forms or styles and see what they have to offer for you. We're all on a very personal journey and some styles fit some people better than others.

As far as MS, I know several people with MS who practice meditation, Qi Gong & Tai Chi regularly. It seems to help their issues a great deal. It's not a cure of course, but it helps to reduce their everyday struggles.

I hope that helps Jay.

-Bill
