My name is George.

I have copd I'm on oxygen 24/7 I'm 64 yo, going on 24 lol. I've been going to doctors and getting no help. they just keeping giving me different inhalers to try. I feel like they think I'm a lab rat?

I am doing Reiki on myself as I would like to heel myself. I would like to know if you know of or anyone knows of anyone that has been helped with Qi Gong for copd? I would be grateful for any help you can give me, I've been in on 2 free Qi Gong sessions, but have not felt anything, I hope you don't tell me that I'm just not a sensitive guy lol.

thank you for your time.

-George

Hi George,

I'm glad you found my website and hope you find benefit from it.

I'll mention a few things.

I understand completely what you are going through with the copd, oxygen and feeling like a lab rat. My father passed away several years ago from lung cancer. The last two years of his life were not very enjoyable as he had lots of chemo, was full of drugs, on oxygen 24/7, 5-6 different inhalers every day, etc. You know the drill. I've also had many students over the years with various lung issues and on oxygen at various levels.

While the simple deep breathing of the majority of the Qi Gong exercises will help to rebuild the capacity of your lungs. I am going to direct you to one exercise which specifically targets the lungs.

Watch the video on Lesson 4 - Health Vitality exercises. The very first exercise in that video. The one in which we raise up our arms and breathe in and then let our arms drop and breathe out. Keep in mind it is very important that you understand the details that I am going through for that exercise. You need to focus on the areas of the body I mention and ensure you feel them rise in the order that I say.

I'm not sure of your current physical condition. You can do this exercise from sitting or standing. In the near future I'm going to do a few videos that show how to do the various exercises from a chair.

All of my students with lung issues (including my father) that practice this one exercise diligently have received benefit from it. Some more than others.

Practice the exercise a few times and learn it to the detail I show on the video. Once you have learned that I can show you even more details, including the acupoints and energy channel involved. This will increase the benefit you'll receive from it.

Let me know how it goes George. I'm looking forward to hearing about your progress.

Take Care,
-Bill
